Media has a large impact on peoples lives. It can make or mar the mind. It has got all freedom which no other person in any profession has got. Media unlike Movies doesn’t have a Solid censor board. It does a sneak peek and grabs a hand ful of news from any where and every where .It has got full rights to shout what ever is not right and if any injustice is happening to some one. Involvement of media can bring revolutions and change people’s life!!But in recent past years the innumerable number of News channels which came to lime light with 24*7 over flowing news are not getting involved in people’s life and helping them but bugging them beyond limits which definitely is misusing the freedom given to them.When the important news dries up media concentrates on trash/crap news of a celeb’s personal life, strife, break up or any thing in which the audience is least interested. At some point the crap creeps so much that the news which has to be in headlines crawls behind the carpet!!!Reality TV/ Soaps cum news shouldn’t definitely be like in the pic below where a hen cooks its own ASS(the best reality show :))!!By watching some channels we even roast our own brains!!!

Below are images of few reality shows which unnecessarily make people emotional and the weddings conducted on Television!!!-----I have no words left to explain how stupid they are... and People like fools tend to watch all of them : ( :(. The raaz pichle janam ka hosted by Ravi kishan made even monika bedi and shekhar suman also to come to studio and weave stories was a big flop and am very thank ful to who ever is behind closing this program.This proves there is some brain left amongst us.

Now coming to NEWS channels you can take for instance AAJ tak news channel which is famous for hoards of BREAKING NEWSwhich is actually crap! Once there was a Breaking news flashing on Aaj Tak.I was watching curiously when a booming voice from behindthe vedio clip shouted Aishwarya Rai bachan neNAzar utaara!! Akhir ye kiske lie ?kab aur kyu? Ye raaz kya hai ? ..and it went on for an amazing 1hr with commercial breaks in between where aish was throwing namak or some ash on to the road which was shooted from a distance ....and was repeatedly telecasted with zoom zip zap ear splitting sounds as if some thing sensational is going on with aish!There was one more news like in below image where Aish 's mood was off during the premiere of RANN...reason being Vivek Oberoi who paid a visit on daddy’s big day! This news showed aish in different mood swings through out the premiere...Parallely there might be other important happening news in the city out there!...........a news definitely much more interesting than the cold war between rai and Roi

But all our media is interested is in aish’s moods swings or shoiabs scandal who recently got wedded to sania mirza a News or rather a dialy serial which went on for many days ....IT became quite a news in hyd being telecasted in all possible telugu channels where even after gettin g serious warnings of not entering Sania's residence reporters still stayed as watch dogs and tried capturing each and every possible scene inside. In the midst of it ayesha’s Fiasco (who was already married to shoiab) which increased the TRP of the program/ News and they didn’t hesitate to show this twist again and again on TV which made people bored to death !Even the news of Sainas Victory was shunned by Sania's wedding!I wish the crap is cut and news is shown in short!!!not like a dialy episode or atleast the number of USELESS news channels have to be cut to half of the present number. Yes we can always chose not to watch the news..But we tend to watch it as we have to keep track of any important change in the country or world!!but how sick it is to always catch a glimpse of sania and shoaib ON ALL CHANNELS in your serious efforts of catching some other news :(

India TV is no less

. It takes the cake. Be it 'aliens gonna abduct Himesh' story .They show it as its all we want!!!!This is 24X7 atyachar and they even argue that they stick to public demands .Check out below images

This can only lead to two conclusions

·Public was always stupid. They are just cashing on it

They make public more stupid day by day, and then they cash in.

Coming to SMS polls.. virtually on every possible / non-possible issue! Will someone's Gastric problem end? Will salman be the best match to kat ?Should Sania wear red or green on her wedding?? Should we continue racking our brains or not? ..... We all rant on rising prices on petrol, vegetables, inflation but what about the cost of SMSes on these reality Draculas? 3 / 5 / 10 Rs worth of one SMS. and we send multiple of those.. everyday! Definitely aimed at making "Ass-M-Ass" out of us!!Do u really think Reality shows are judged as per SMS?!!?and even if Votes make them WIN!!!is it a fair judgement always ??Just use your brain friends !!!!

Recently at Dhonis wedding A renowned News channel made a big story even after the wedding ended showing the debris / clean ups after wedding predicting what might have happened! Its hight time media should realise people might be interested in Dhoni’s highlight cricket match but not highlights of wedding , pros and cons which is predicted by investigations on premises!

Predictions :: media is best at predicting news , taking sides or creating news and making their own judgements at times based on haphazard facts for the sake of TRPS...even if its simple news or some major news which can lead to violent consequences!

Coming to the crime and agitating news media puts full effort in showing the ghastly death images so full of life that people get disturbed at times seeing the cut heads , hands , pools of blood like in some horror movie..and they never miss the close up shots. I wonder how they can go and shoot there firstly! Its medias duty to show the crime news and injustice but when it goes beyond the saturation...people don’t feel like watching the TV for news! When there was 9/11 and WTC was attacked not even a single dead body was shown on US news channels ... I hope We too follow the suit and make news little watchable!

Every one is in deep sorrow on watching such news but no one wants to Turn off the TV out of horror!There are few advantages like Police can catch criminals with the help of media’s proofs .Coming to telangana agitation here in hyd Where many agitated students called out for a strike ,burnt buses. and created havoc were actually not students and not even from Telangana but hired goons!! Which was proved by media’s intervention. I appreciate it a lot ! They are equal to police here saving the state..but I plead media not to show agitating/violent news a lot or cooked up news which is not news at all..............

Media played a key role in catching many criminals using powerful sources like sting operation (the tehelka.com) Just yesterday in news i watched in headlines Today that Saffron Goons attack HT main office coz of some fact of RSS revealed in the news channels! Media has to face this after math many times after it reveals the facts! I appreciate the brave media, but the same media should watch its words!!should put a check point on interfering in lives !

Freedom doesn’t mean you can scan each and every person whenever you like. A person just faced the blast at Nariman’s house (26/11). He escaped death. He all injured was being taken on stretcher and media was questioning him what happened exactly inside? Can he reveal any important details? The person was bandaged and couldn’t speak! And media is expecting answers from him!! The continous telecast of Sex scandals :::: Nityananda /bheemananda swamys and kalki bhagwans news and videos were released first on local tv channels which showed it again and again and again

One joke i heard on radio : A reporter asked a person Prasad : “what is your opinion on swamys like nityananda”

Prasad : “what opinion will i have on him!! He is a cheater like others...but this vedio is even banned on You tube but your channel shows his hot vedios again and again which we actually enjoy! No one can show like that” The reporter says with camera man Raj reporter Srikanth TV007 and ends it then and there !! :-)

Can go on on this but I want to end my perspective here!! :-)

Ø I wish our media pays more attention on important news and less or no attention on news which is not news at all

Ø I wish to pay attention on news rather than going inside my room and reading a nice book

Ø I wish few TV channels don’t take political sides or support a caste or religion or any other damn group

Ø I wish there are less number of news /reality channels. There are already many tv soaps and reality shows which are again judged on News channels

Ø I wish People become more intelligents and protest against population explosion of TV channels. There has to be a limit on number of channels

Ø I wish people become more educated on politics economy..inflation..technology...achievements of our nation so on so forth

Ø I wish the gloomy news ends and even happy news is also shown for a change..for some positivity to imbibe in our nerves and cells. Even APJ kalam once protested that negative and only SAD NEWS is being dumped a lot in our news papers and channels

And finally if such changes happen I wont feel that there would be a need to hold an award ceremony for THE BEST KICK ASS news channel award and situation will not be like below :-) :-)

I find television very educating. Every time somebody turns on the set, I go into the other room and read a book - Groucho Marx !!!!!

· U only know what to do and how to make your life better? no one else can help U better than YOURSELF!

· Don’t get used to people and their conversations …even if they influence U greatly and u feel really good about it….coz getting used to a thing is simple and easy!! ITS tough when u try getting rid of a thing U got used to when people back out!Its better to set Limits in all relations !coz addiction (any kind)is dangerous

· Be good and be lovable with your partner parents and siblings coz they r with u for long time. They might help you out in a crisis situation…its not sure if any one else can stand for U / With U/ Pat u !

· Love makes Life and even the person look beautiful !! Biggest fact it is………Try liking a person who likes U!!but don’t expect things to happen UR WAY! They will happen whether U wish or not

· What has happened can never be reverted ! So just get used to the present situation…and try getting adapted to real scenario….and act accordingly…It will make U feel better

· LOVE shouldn’t be Loss of valuable Energy/Emotions!! Don’t spend your emotions on wrong people at wrong time !!

· Thoughts which can make u happy : you have wonderful parents who teach u preach u but love u the way no one does.

· You are successful than many others!!

· You have talents which very less people have--- (may be u can write /sing/ Dance/cook wonderfully)

· You have parents/ good friends with whom U can crib

· You have online friends…and buddies who ping u all the time even if its just Time pass

· And U can actually find such X Y Z reasons

· If ur in a bad mood there are things which can be done other than talking …like music, books..take a nap..relax…play a game…exercise…dance…sing…all THESE things subside your thoughts and will rejuvenate U!

· Little over weight doesn’t make U look ugly…Few extra pounds won’t make u physically weak or socially incompatible when in a group..!!There are many ugly problems in the world!Be proud of what u LOOK LIKE!! Don’t consult beauty and figure freaks a lot..it will make U LOOK UGLY all time (remember the baz lurhman’s song! )…

· Don’t let any one invade your good health! Health spoiled by tensions U gain are tensions only when U think about them importantly!!Reduce the thinking process

· Solitude is serene and calm many times.Dont feel so SAD and lost when U R Lonely or idle. There are many things to do..Just think…there are many pending books to read, pending plans to implement…

· If some thing has gone worst worst and the worst!! It can only get better if u Try!

· Plan the slightest desires U have and start implementing them..People may pay deaf ear or laugh at your plans saying they are meek, trying to break Your confidence…Y TO EXPRESS and lose confidence…Its better to shut your mouth and have secret mission and just stick to a smile and gain confidence

· Care a lot for your parents! Its not advisable to ignore them or stay indifferent to their talks just because You are frustrated!!

· Don’t cry!! IF its uncontrollable just cry when You are alone. Tears may relieve U! but its not sure that crying when you are with even close buddies may help U!!

· Last but not the least..Don’t rub your Talents/passions/interests/hobbies on others..THEY MIGHT not be interested..You can gain value as such and people interested in ur passions will appreciate without much propaganda

Three handsome male dogs are walking down the street when they see a beautiful, enticing, female Poodle.

The three male dogs fall all over themselves in an effort to be the one to reach her first, but end up arriving in front of her at the same time. The males are speechless before her beauty, slobbering on themselves and hoping for just a glance from her in return.

Aware of her charms and her obvious effect on the three suitors, she decides to be kind and tells them “The first one who can use the words “liver” and “cheese” together in an imaginative, intelligent sentence can go out with me.” The sturdy, muscular black Lab speaks up quickly and says “I love liver and cheese.” “Oh, how childish,” said the Poodle. “That shows no imagination or intelligence whatsoever.”

She turned to the tall, shiny Golden Retriever and said “How well can you do?” “Ummmm...I HATE liver and cheese,” blurts the Golden Retriever. “My, my,” said the Poodle. “I guess it’s hopeless. That’s just as dumb as the Lab’s sentence.” She then turns to the last of the three dogs and says, “How about you, little guy?” The last of the three, tiny in stature but big in fame and finesse, is the Taco Bell chihuahua. “afshu TV on kar..Alif laila ka time hua “ my granma shouted at me at 9 PM sharp on a Sunday night…

I went and switched on the BPL 21 inches color TV (proud of it ) as very few in the mohalla owned it :)

So I pressed that large rectangular ON/off button switched it on and increased the volume using +/- buttons adjacent to it ……when ever U wanna reduce volume ..or change channel (ofcourse there was only one channel or at the most two or three..including regional and sports channel) U need to get up go till the television set and then change there……Never felt it was a big task then!!...Then one fine day..cablE tv or dish connection came so came many channels..sony zee MTV so on...then came the REMOTE…where ever u sit ….what ever u r doing…eating..drinking..reading… sleeping on sofa….with atleast 10metres gap or some times more…U can change channels browse through..increase the volume…so on so forth..hav fun! It was so relieving exhilarating …..Watching TV was never so easy :P

after few months of getting used to REMOTE CONTROLLER …Batteries were dead in remote…….u had to go till television set and change the channels….i opened the flap WHICH is hiding the unused on/off prog + - and Vol + - buttons main menu and what not!...On the first look I felt like a Engineering student in his first year…………using the Drafter for the first time…With little confused look I switched on the TV…..after struggling with buttons for a while I was able to bring the color and brightness to normal for M TV….then again when I shifted to sony …it again got MORE BRIGHT more colorful..Again I had to get up go and set the color to normal……After a while I bought Battery full of life which filled LIFE in remote and life even in me!!:) “phew “ it was such a sigh of relief…..TV with out remote is pain…

AC---------AC was like a dream the most luxurious thing a normal middle class person can own in early 90s and even late 90’s…Now 24*7 AC in office… malls ..... cars….homes (though not all can afford it) Not all can afford it…but most of us are used to it…There were days when we used to crave for FANS and the hot air coming from its blades…during summer…….now Air cooler …AC have become widely used commodities….”Summer is coming…need to get atleast Cooler for second hand yaar…”.I heard a boy talking to his colleague. In olden days..may be a decade back…Onset of summer means---the cool white paint used on the terrace so that the roof gets cool… …Water in red handi / Surahi (the typical red pot)..which is heavenly I should say!! Tasted better than the fridge water. All these age old METhods in which a little effort and hard work were needed are out dated now

Another friend “A car with out AC. Oh my god . I cant travel in it…its more like an auto!!:-)”

“Oops I forgot my mobile” swathi said…AND THAT day was definitely hell to her…No calls..she doesn’t remember ph numbers…she couldn’t sms ..No music..No need to say her day was Dull indeed”

"what the hell are u telling...My internet is down From 4 hrs.....Cant u sort it out fastly " one more teenager was shouting like anything on a customer care as hisnet connection was down

I heard another X telling to his friend… “I need a second hand fridge atleast……….IT has become must now…I cant live like this..”.WE CANT Live with out them…it’s the trend these days……WE LIVE WITH APPLIANCES…..We breath with mobiles…we digest food with our laptop….we get up with an alarm song in mobile…we feel restless if we forget Ipod that day in the bus….WE need music to walk to do gym….and we need musical ring tones too…RING TONNES and dialer tonnes are most downloaded in INDIA ….We need Chilled water and machine coffee atleast thrice a day (for those who r addicted to it)….Coffee was a tasty and Fresh drink in olden days…just the sip of a hot filter coffee used to be a big relief. Now how ever dirty it is we drink mugs and mugs of vendor machine coffee

We used to BEND ,move, walk and show some physical movement in prev days..but still we were strong….more immune…ALL FACILITIES easing the life today ..but still we are prone to diseases infections easily….. immunity levels have come down

People of our age get tired by climbing stairs…..more easily than 40—50 year old ones…….Technology is a boon or curse is always a Open question…but getting addicted to it is definitely not doing much good..Like for example I prefer blogging here than turning and talking to my colleague !!:)

What say friends??? In my next post probably I will talk about HY FI beautifying techniques for which people don’t hesitate to spend !!!1000s and 1000s but it doesn’t last LONG!

Wedding bells wedding bells Weddingszzzz all the way!!
recently most of my cousins got married………The thing which surprised me is How can any one get so easily acquainted with a total STRANGER… he/she BOTH!? Coming to me I need ages to get friendly or share things with some X . I am kinda introvert and I need time to gel well with people around me. BUT if I gel well…I am sure it lasts long! So were many others whom I know…but when it comes to FUTURE wife/hubby how can they gel well so FAST ???:) sharing each and every minute thing they do..keeping track of each and every minute of their day….Sending LUV SMSES …emoticons….(kisses hugs hearts so on ) wearing each others favourite colored dresses / Jewellery eating or drinking each others Favourite drink….So on so forth !! OH MY GOSH!! Doesn’t it get boring at one point of time….I Thought to my self…then I again thought to my self MAY BE IT Gets boring to others but not to them..Infact it gets interesting day by day and thrilling I GUESS!!---provided they enjoy each others conversation….

I have seen people practically Showing their emotions with out hiding the slightest of them And publicly displaying AFFECTIONS! Well I didn’t approve it much but I don’t know at that juncture how I would behave :P will I be totally dreamy or stay in my senses… AM Seriously not sure of it. When it comes TO DREAMS I am a day dreamer and I can beat most of them in this..SO !! may be I would behave in the same way :P :P :Pone of my friends stores his wifes name as sweetu…They Are not even engaged :-o OOPS!! I thought so much LOVE already…What’s this magic? Is it REALLY love ??or affection generated out of compulsion of getting committed / married! Am not sure. What ever it is its sweet I guess…TO SOME Extent…I have also seen boys who practically get pissed off by such stuff ….The girl calls him “hi jaaanu Dear wassup ? get up na its already 8 (Few girls express a lot U C :P) “ then he controlling his urge to puke responds “Yaaaaa am getting up (WITH A PAUSE and lot of effort) DEAR!!” Yeah it doesn’t come naturally to all…it takes time for few To address even the dear dear sugary lolly sweetus like jaanu deary rolu polu or whatteva!!

May be its needed to act to make others r happy though not so content with one self or may be its better To be the way U R I am not sure….My mom often says…theres no harm in expressing emotions …as it will be repaid one day or the other!So I follow it—I fail at times and I am not sure about the results…One of my very close friends was getting married..She was not sure if she has to marry that man As nothing was working between them No common talks..No common choices…If he likes techie stuff…she likes discussing movies…TV..news etc…If she likes tea …he hates it..if she likes eating out he prefers home made Cuisines….He is not able to woo her…she was not able to impress him…They hardly speak to each other….I mean if she talks to me in ph for 30 min …with her would be its just for 10—15min…She was very much worried as to WHAT she is going to do to about their relation….Will she be happy at all!? Then I told her the same thing she told me Few years back!! That “ You have no choice to select your parents and like each and every aspect of theirs..U like few things dislike few but u gotta stay with them…U get used to it…and above all U LOVE each other so u can undermine minuses and MAGNIFY plusses “ ahem sounds heavy!! But that’s the only thing I could tell to her at that point of time….NOT sure she followed it or not….

The main thing is marriage shouldn’t be at toss…so ITS better u behave In a manner he likes u to or she likes u to---Not always but when u feel like its needed then…………Adjustment in a new relation is very much needed by either a boy or girl or its perfect if its by both …Its an age old thought that when it comes to adjustment…Girls top in it being more understanding compassionate ..sensitive and patient…but times have changed…GIRLS need their space these days They cant act or adjust always…EMOTIONS are not selfless anymore ..When U Give U demand…They have freedom of thought…equally knowledgeable and equally or may be more hard working…..they also are confident enough and they also get tired…They also act the way they like most of the times…Doesn’t mean they don’t give a damn about their husband or boy friend…but When they GIVE a DAMN they expect the same in return!!

Coming to LOVE Vs Arranged marriage ..its an age old topic and I don’t wanna waste space for discussing it…Its just that….Commitment compromise and adjustment is needed in both,,,,

My perspective is When things go wrong (Not being pessimistic ) but things often go wrong,,,,,so when things go wrong Arranged marriage is less painful than love marriage as in the first case the person is total stranger to U! and u give him some time…BUT perfection is expected in a LOVE MARRIAGE (in most of the cases )……Again its my perspective…different people have differing opinions!!

Many people have misconception that ITS BOYS WHO spend money and girls sit and have fun!!but I say a big NO NO for this….YES BOYS do open wallet many times…and don’t ask about ph bills…….its like a mini Ramayana The size of it..but if a boy doesn’t call one day (After the girl gets used to it) a confused hypertensed Silly girl calls him 100s of times…wondering y he did not call,,,,,Now a days (I HAVE SEEN) girls also make equal number of calls no matter whatever the size of the ph bill is….and they also do spend if THEY EARN! Times have changed so is a girl….

It might be a controversial statement but girls are HIGHLY emotional beings on the EARTH but no Tom Dick Harry can steal their desire to BE PRACTICAL if they really wanna be practical….They are meant to be emotional…After being highly emotional Don’t make them bend towards practicality ….coz its tough for her to come back to her emotional self!! A girl though physically weaker species mentally Unusual strength she has got! ---gifted by GOD! Many situations which a boy THINKS he can handle but cant….Girl handles them easily even if she is unaware she can actually I have seen a boy who forgot having head bath regularly and got used to booze and smoke for ever after a girl ditched him and I have seen a girl who cried to her hearts content but got ready in a nice dress after a week and went to a movie with girl friends… AGAIN Its not about who wins ….there are differing TYPES in both species…its again a open question if the boy who boozes is really sad ? or if the girl who is going to movie is really HAPPY!!?!?---Not sure!!!

Anyway The magic has begun BETWEEN x and Y long back when the wedding got fixed with all the romantic talks chats….and still continuing… I hope it doesn’t wear off FOR LONG!! I am still clueless as to how it starts and how both are Attached to each other SO FAST!!--> I was just so excited seeing the sparks and joy in their eyes….GOD bless all THE couples and love birds! And I pray they have a FRUIT FUL Life

Girls are very sensitive about relations…..So are boys !!:)am not forming a anti boy committee here….BUT I just want both to stick to it……..WITH out playing a win/Lose game…Make it a win win situation and spend Happy TIMES!!:)
