As the Crescent moon of Ramzan shines, one thing I fondly remember is sheer khurma. The more you have the more you want it. You can prepare it with special Ramzan vermicelli available in stores during the festive month .or even ready made Bambino vermicelli. Ingredients
Vermicelli--250 gram
Milk--1 litre
Dates--1 cup
Almonds-1 cup
Cashew nuts-1 cup
Kishmish- 1/2cup
Khoya--150 gram
Sugar-- 1/4 cup
Saffron--few strands
Cardamom Green powder--small pinch
Coconut-- 1 cup
Cloves--2
Cardamom green--2
Pistachio-- 6-10 no’s

A very rich dish. yummmmmy.I too make this sweet dish but do not add khoya and coconut and call it payasam.
